How to use it

1. Check the LCD. Charge the pack at home if it is low. Do not wait until you are stranded.
2. Clamp red to the positive battery post, black to a solid metal ground or the negative post, matching the printed instructions in the box.
3. Turn the pack on, start the car, then disconnect the clamps in reverse order.
4. Drive long enough to let the alternator recover, or put a charger on the battery later.

FAQ

Do I need a second car?
No. This is the second car. Clamps on, start, disconnect.

Will it work in winter?
Cold batteries are harder to start. Keep the pack charged and in the cabin overnight if it is well below freezing, then take it to the car.

Is this a full car battery?
No. It is a booster. It starts the car. It does not replace a dead battery that will not hold a charge.
